Parish Announcements
A special request from the parents of Gabriel Focaracci has been made. The family is seeking a photograph of Gabe at church while serving as an altar server. If you have any pictures of him serving, please forward copies to his parents, Rochelle and Luis, or Debbie in the parish office.
Holy Mass on Wednesday, March 29th, will be celebrated at 12 noon. Exposition and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament will follow Holy Mass and confessions will be heard during that time.
The Stations of the Cross will be prayed in the nave on Fridays, at 6:30 p.m., during Lent. A lenten dinner will follow at 7 p.m. Baked or fried fish will be available as well as cheese quesadillas, cole slaw, mixed vegetables, French fries and hush puppies.
We hope that you are planning to join us for all of St. Vincent de Paul's Holy Week liturgies and events. Holy Mass on Holy Thursday will be celebrated at 7 p.m. On Good Friday, the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed at 3 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. and the Stations of the Cross at 4 p.m. The Solemn Liturgy of the Passion of Christ will begin at 7 p.m. The Easter Vigil Holy Mass will begin at 8 p.m. Holy Masses on Easter Sunday will be celebrated at 9 a.m., 12 noon and 3 p.m.
Please sign up to serve at the Holy Week and Easter Sunday liturgies using Ministry Scheduler Pro as soon as possible. Ministry volunteers are needed, most especially altar servers.
Parishioners are invited to keep vigil with the Lord during all night adoration on Holy Thursday in the Garden of Repose until 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Good Friday. A volunteer sign-up sheet is posted in the narthex.
Are you interested in volunteering for the SVdP Religious Education Program? We are looking for teachers, assistants and substitutes for the 2023-2024 Religious Education program that begins in August. Please see the Bulletin for additional information on volunteering or you may speak to one of the directors, Nancy or Mary, in person.
The second collection is for our Future Building, including a rectory, and Emergency Needs fund.
